If you believe our wait time estimate for a specific airport was significantly inaccurate, we want to know. Please email us with:
- The airport code and specific checkpoint (if applicable)
- The date and time of your experience
- The actual wait time you observed
- What our estimate showed at that time
- Any relevant context (holiday period, special events, etc.)
We use this feedback to validate and refine our estimation algorithms. Regular outliers help us identify systematic inaccuracies that need attention.
Wait Time Tips and Observations
If you have valuable observations about patterns you've noticed at a specific airport, we'd like to hear them. Examples include:
- New checkpoint openings or closures you've observed
- Seasonal or day-of-week patterns you've documented
- Changes in PreCheck lane availability or staffing
- Terminal-specific variations you've identified
Submitting your observations helps us serve all travelers better.
Accessibility and Technical Issues
If you encounter accessibility barriers on SecurityWait, have difficulty using our site, or discover technical bugs, please email us immediately with:

What We Cannot Help With
While we're happy to assist with wait time information and airport-related questions, there are some requests outside our scope:
- TSA policy changes: We can't speak on behalf of TSA or predict policy changes. For official TSA information, visit tsa.gov.
- Contacting TSA on your behalf: We cannot file complaints, requests, or official communications to TSA for you. You'll need to contact TSA directly at tsa.gov or through their official channels.
- Personal TSA issues: If you've had a specific negative security screening experience, report it through TSA's official feedback process at tsa.gov/travel/getting-through-airport-security.
- Security incidents: If you witness a security incident or suspicious activity at an airport, report it to local authorities or TSA officers immediately—do not contact us.
- Flight rebooking or airline issues: We cannot assist with flight cancellations, rebooking, or airline customer service issues. Contact your airline directly.
- Legal advice: SecurityWait provides travel information only, not legal guidance. Consult an attorney for legal matters.
